I would like to play this game also, i will have to reinstall it and hope to god i remember my steam account password, would we be playing online or just lan?
I wish i had day of defeat I really wanna play that.

Are we just playing 1.6 or is there going to be some Source floating around?
I'm an old-schooler, I like CS 1.6 more than Source so I'd be happy just playing 1.6. Besides, the Day of Defeat mod for 1.6 is still a free download, whereas the DoD:Source mod has to be purchased off steam :(

yeah unfortunetly any source games have to be purchased but they it a pretty cheap investment from any store in town at the moment. i would love to play some cs 1.6 and some day of defeat 1.6. dod on lan would be pretty awesome imo. i myself am going to be playing 1.6 and some WoW once in a while.
Yesterday i found out starcraft 2 is coming out soon and after the heat from it dies down they are going to introduce World of Starcraft!!!!!!! im definately going to play that game haha. how sweet of a game would that be. honestly! anyways, thats off topic. see you guys Friday!!!! |

As for World of Starcraft... are you serious? Because as far as I know, World of Starcraft was an april fool's joke. During the controversy and pre-korea announcement of Starcraft 2, the debate was all the rage on the net. Despite the fact that some very convincing screenshots popped up on the net, Blizzard said they had no real plans for World of Starcraft and just sort of went along with the joke. They were very careful during the interviews in Korea to remain neutral about the whole WoS phenomenon.
On the other hand, I am so thoroughly impressed with Starcraft 2 and where they plan to bring the game. First of all, dedicated players who utilize tactic over numbers will finally get their fill with the new moves (Zealots with charge? zomg!). Those that win with force of numbers will soon realize Blizz has put a huge dent in that battle plan - they've balanced it so that a handful of correct units can still put a zerger in his place.
So excited about this one, I can't wait to see the Korean battle championships that'll pop up with its release. I'm a geek, I actually watch those competition video clips because the precision Korean gamers play with is t3h h4wtn3ss.
